Una mirada al feminismo decolonial en América Latina

Synopsis of Una mirada al feminismo decolonial en América Latina

«Una mirada al feminismo decolonial en América Latina» is a philosophy essay by Ana Marcela Montanaro Mena, published by Dykinson S.L. in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).

This work explores the connections between postcolonial studies, studies of coloniality and feminist theories, with special attention to Latin American decolonial feminism. It contrasts these proposals with hegemonic Western feminism, and puts forward a third feminism with epistemological and political bases of its own from the so-called global third world.

First edition published in 2017. It belongs to the Religion and Human Rights collection, directed by Juan J. Tamayo, promoted by Carlos III University of Madrid.

For students and researchers in philosophy, gender studies and social sciences interested in Latin American decolonial thought.
