«Unha presa de terra» is the crime novel by Marilar Aleixandre published by Baía Edicións in paperback (140 pages, in Galician).
A corpse in the elevator of a housing community where appearances deceive involves detective Ana Candeán in the case. The investigation passes through the Compostela tavern Artefacto Burbur, an invocation in Vegliot and the Conto da muller brava, a popular tale about abuse, in a crime novel crossed by gender violence.
The text won the Premio Novela por Entregas de La Voz de Galicia in 2001 and was published then; Baía Edicións brought it back in 2022 in an expanded edition within the Baía Narrativa collection (no. 44).
For readers of crime fiction and contemporary Galician narrative with a social background.
