«Viajamos tan lejos» is the children's picture book by Laura Knowles and Chris Madden, published by Ediciones SM in hardcover (64 pages, in Spanish).
Whales, birds, elephants, butterflies and turtles are the protagonists of the book: each species appears in a short story telling of its journey over land, sea or air. The book also describes the landscapes they cross, the seasons in which they travel and the reasons that lead them to cover great distances.
Laura Knowles writes the text and Chris Madden the illustrations; it belongs to the Álbumes ilustrados collection and includes a translation by Patrycja Katarzyna Jurkowska. Recommended reading for ages 6 to 9.
For early readers curious about animals and nature, and as support for environmental education in the classroom.
