«Viaje a la transparencia» is the complete poetic work of Nelly Sachs, published by Trotta in paperback (384 pages, in Spanish).
It gathers all of Nelly Sachs's poetry as a journey towards transparency that starts from the horror of the extermination camps and the death of the victims. Her lyricism draws on the Prophets, the Psalms, the Torah and Hasidic legends, and builds a new language, parallel to that of Paul Celan, to name the unspeakable.
It belongs to the collection «La dicha de enmudecer» and is the translation by José Luis Reina Palazón; published in Madrid in 2009.
For readers of European poetry and for those seeking an essential voice on the Holocaust and Jewish tradition.
