«Vista cansada» is a poetry collection by Luís García Montero, published by Visor Libros in hardcover (144 pages, in Spanish).
García Montero conceived this collection upon turning fifty in 2008: a review of his memory in which melancholy coexists with an affirmation of life and dignity. The intimate intersects with the dizzying changes Spain experienced in recent decades.
It belongs to number 2 of the Palabra de Honor collection from Visor Poesía.
For readers of contemporary Spanish poetry interested in a work that combines personal memory and reflection on Spain.
Luis García Montero is a Spanish poet, literary critic and academic. He is a professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Granada and since 2018 director of the Instituto Cervantes.
