«Wir Kinder aus dem Möwenweg» is Kirsten Boie's children's novel, published by Deutscher Taschenbuch Verlag in paperback (170 pages, in German).
Tara is eight years old and has just moved with her family to a row house on Möwenweg. There she makes new friends and, together with her siblings Petja and Maus and her best friend Tieneke, lives neighborhood adventures: setting up a lemonade stand, going swimming and founding a gang. The narrative adopts her childlike point of view, with a tone close to Astrid Lindgren's stories.
First volume of the Möwenweg series. The work was originally published in 2000 and has been translated into 16 languages.
Aimed at elementary school children, especially those who enjoy stories about gangs, friendship and outdoor games.

Kirsten Boie is a German children's author and activist. Having worked as a teacher, she began publishing in 1985 and is the author of more than 100 books.
