«Yo mataré monstruos por ti» is a collection of short stories by Víctor Balcells Matas, published by Editorial Delirio in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Stories that move between love and heartbreak in settings such as refineries, seas, bookstores and film archives, with death as a constant presence. Tragic tales that become comic and vice versa, where lies, betrayal, theft and the strangeness of the everyday are approached with intensity, violence and flashes of irony.
First title in the Iría Narrative Collection; published in 2010.
For readers of contemporary fiction who appreciate short stories with humor, irony and an incisive view of the human condition.
