«Zzzzzzzz» is the collection of articles by writer Quim Monzó, published by Quaderns Crema in paperback (208 pages, in Catalan).
The articles gathered in this volume address current affairs from the perspective of an ordinary citizen unwilling to tolerate the arbitrariness of the political and intellectual class. With humor and apparent banality, Monzó combines cosmopolitanism and rootedness, disenchantment and commitment, to offer an incisive critique of contemporary society.
Originally published in 1987 in Barcelona, it is number 25 in the Mínima Minor collection from Quaderns Crema.
For readers of columns, opinion journalism and social satire with humor, as well as for those who want to discover Quim Monzó's prose in Catalan.
