Austrian illustrator
Helga Bansch was born in the Austrian city of Leoben in 1957. Before dedicating herself fully to illustration, she worked as a school teacher. Her prolific career includes over 40 published works to date. Her book Petra is one of her most internationally recognized works. Her children's stories explore fundamental themes such as self-confidence.
