«Ella & Satchmo Together» is the compilation by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, released in 1993 by Blue Moon on CD.
A compilation of duets between Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong in which her voice and his trumpet converse over vocal jazz and big band swing arrangements. The soundscape evokes their classic recordings, and the sepia cover underscores that vintage feel of the joint project.
The CD edition consists of one disc and was released in Spain by Blue Moon with catalogue number BMCD 3502.
Aimed at fans of vocal jazz and big band swing, and also as a gateway to the joint work of Fitzgerald and Armstrong.
