«Piano ibérico» is the album by Chano Domínguez, released in 2010 by Blue Note and EMI Music Spain, on CD.
Pianist Chano Domínguez combines contemporary jazz with flamenco and Spanish classical music in a repertoire that revisits works by Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla and Federico Mompou. The result updates Iberian music with a modern perspective and a marked southern Spanish accent.
Will appeal to listeners of contemporary jazz, flamenco and Spanish classical music.
