«Supreme Jazz» is the compilation by Sonny Rollins, released in 2006 by Membran on hybrid SACD.
A selection of recordings by Sonny Rollins presenting him as one of jazz's great innovators: a restless saxophonist, a student of other disciplines, whose sound marked the evolution of bop and classic jazz. The anthology focuses on his tenor sax and the energy of his performances from that era.
German edition with multichannel and stereo sound, one disc; the cover reproduces a photograph of Rollins in New York in 1950.
For audiophiles and collectors interested in a Sonny Rollins anthology with high-fidelity sound.
