«Waterfall Cave Fantasy, Forever» is the sixth full-length album by Nyos, released in 2023 by Pelagic Records, on CD.
The Finnish duo Nyos fuses mutant funk-punk loops with echoes of Battles and Tortoise and a cinematic wall of sound close to the post-rock of Russian Circles. Waterfall Cave Fantasy, Forever combines highly complex composition with the energy of live improvisation and an enveloping atmosphere, within noise-rock and the avant-garde.
CD edition with reference PEL 240 from Pelagic Records, released on November 3, 2023. On Discogs it is classified within math rock and post-rock.
Recommended for listeners of experimental rock, post-rock and math rock, especially for those who follow Battles, Tortoise or Russian Circles.
