«A casa dels avis» is an illustrated children's picture book by Helen Oxenbury, published by Editorial Juventud in paperback (16 pages, in Spanish).
The book depicts a visit to the grandparents' house and turns the everyday gestures of reunion into scenes of tenderness and complicity between generations. Helen Oxenbury's illustrations, with their soft line and warm colors, reflect the joy of family life and make this album a close-at-hand read for the youngest.
The cover of this Spanish edition bears the title «En casa de los abuelos»; it was published in 1989.
Album recommended for early readers and for shared family reading, especially between grandparents and grandchildren.
