«A cazadora de estrelas» is the children's novel by María Canosa, illustrated by Dani Padrón, published by Edicións Xerais in hardcover (112 pages, in Galician).
Megumi spends her time hunting stars in her community: her arrows pierce small, bright celestial bodies and create nebulae of light. She rides Turrón, her swift mare, and together they form a unit that seems like a centaur in search of the supernova. It is a fantasy about courage, freedom, and love for animals.
It belongs to the Merlín collection and is recommended for ages 9 and up; it includes 18 illustrations by Dani Padrón. The work was a finalist for the Merlín Prize for Children's Literature in 2015 and 2016.
For young readers aged 9 and up, especially those who enjoy fantasy, astronomy, and stories with animals.
