«Rubicundo» is the children's fantasy novel by María Canosa, published by Grupo Anaya Publicaciones Generales in paperback (88 pages, in Galician).
Erea wakes up every night to the squeak of her neighbor Rubicundo's bicycle, which sets off from the top of a tree in her garden. It's not the name or the vehicle that surprises her, but his clothes: a black overcoat and top hat over a jet-black suit. A story that invites you to observe details and imagine.
First edition of 2015, with 18 illustrations by Nuria Díaz. Part of the Infantil e Xuvenil - Merlín collection. Finalist for the 2014 Premio Merlín.
Recommended for readers aged 9 to 11 interested in fantasy and adventure stories.
