«A Encontadora» is the children's and young adult novel by An Alfaya, published by Xerais in paperback (112 pages, in Galician).
Crispín, a retiree who always loved photography, watches his neighbor Eleanora from his balcony and is determined to find out who the Gloria she mentions is. Between curiosity and affection, a love story between older people is born, with tender characters and no age barriers, a theme rarely seen in Galician children's literature.
Published in 2003; Merlín collection, for readers aged 9 and up, with illustrations by Chus Ferrín.
Reading for children and young adult readers from age 9, especially for those who enjoy stories about feelings and relationships.
