«A Gênese. Os Milagres e as Predições Segundo o Espiritismo» is Allan Kardec's essay, published by IDE in paperback (288 pages, in Portuguese).
From the standpoint of Spiritism, Kardec studies the origin of the planet, the formation of humanity and the meaning of the miracles and prophecies of the Gospel, which he presents as events explainable by natural laws. The work defends the concordance between Christian faith and scientific knowledge and announces a new era of human regeneration, based on justice, peace and friendship.
Work originally published in French in 1868 under the title La Genèse selon le spiritisme; this edition includes an analytical index of subjects.
Recommended for those studying Spiritism and for readers interested in the relationship between Christian faith, science and supernatural phenomena.
Hippolyte Léon Denizard Rivail, known by the pen name of Allan Kardec, was a French educator, translator, and writer. He is the author of the five books known as the Spiritist Codification, and the founder of Spiritism.
