«A intervención» is the novel by Teresa Moure, published in paperback by Xerais de Galicia in 2010 (287 pages).
A retired pianist, a dermatologist, her son and a history teacher form an artistic commando preparing a performance between aesthetic creation and political consciousness. While they are based in Courel, a Viennese psychiatrist forces them to write down their activities; the diaries connect creative passion with childhood and fears.
The work is part of the Narrativa collection by Xerais; the action takes place in Vigo and in the mountains of Courel.
For readers of contemporary Galician narrative looking for choral stories about art, memory and commitment.
