«Arriben les vacances!» is a children's story by Carmina Del Rio Galve, published by Salvatella in paperback (28 pages, in Catalan).
The action takes place in the last days of school, when children feel a mix of joy for the holidays and nostalgia for the people and routines they will leave behind. It is written in verse, with cursive and capital letter typography, and its rhythm makes reading initiation easy and enjoyable for the youngest.
It is volume 1 of the collection «Avui és un dia especial». The illustrations are by Sílvia Pla. The first edition was published in May 2011.
For early readers, especially those experiencing the end of the school year and the arrival of summer vacation.
