«Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking» is Malcolm Gladwell's popular science essay, published by Allen Lane in hardcover (288 pages, in English).
Gladwell analyzes how we decide in an instant and why intuition can be as accurate as reflection. He explains 'thinking without thinking' and the concept of 'thin-slicing': drawing conclusions from very little data. He also shows when that rapid response fails and how to improve it, with examples from everyday life and business.
First edition published on January 18, 2005. The cover mentions his previous work 'The Tipping Point'.
For readers interested in psychology, human behavior and decision-making, and followers of Malcolm Gladwell's popular science essays.
