«Caderno de Riparia» is the mystery novel by Xosé A. Perozo, published by Xerais in paperback (144 pages, in Galician).
Writer Simón Carrera spends the summer in Riparia, an island of neighbors used to apparitions. In the house of the four roads that Cacabi, the mayor, rents to him, Simón discovers the silhouette of a hanged man in the gloom. The house holds a tragic story linked to the events of 1936: shadows, nightmares and an old secret lit by the sea.
Published in 2004, it was awarded the Premio de Novela por Entregas de La Voz de Galicia 2003 and belongs to the Fóra de Xogo collection.
A novel recommended for young readers fond of fear and mystery.
