«Cando petan na porta pola noite» is the mystery short story book by Xabier P. Docampo, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback, 96 pages, in Galician.
Four mystery stories that Xabier P. Docampo dedicates to his parents, whom he remembers as storytellers. They are stories that, when read, seem to be heard and appeal to childhood fears: the grove full of shadows, the wind shaking the willows, the snow erasing footprints and the fog hiding unknown beings.
Fóra de Xogo collection. Rañolas Prize, National Prize for Children's and Young Adult Literature (1995) and IBBY Honour List (1996).
Aimed at readers aged 13 and over, especially those who enjoy mystery and scary stories.
