«Contra todo esto» is a rebellious manifesto by Manuel Rivas, published by Alfaguara in paperback (288 pages, in Spanish).
Manuel Rivas denounces the decivilizing drift of today's society: fear as control, inequality, rejection of the different, systemic sexism, environmental degradation and corruption. Faced with the «Oficina de Todo Esto», the author turns shame into a starting point and advocates active hope against conformism.
The book was published on April 5, 2018 in Alfaguara's Hispánica collection.
For readers of political essays and social criticism, as well as for those who want to approach the thought of Manuel Rivas.
