«Dans le labyrinthe» is the novel by Alain Robbe-Grillet, published by Blackwell Pub in paperback (182 pages, in French).
It is a representative work of the nouveau roman that narrates the ordeal of a soldier lost in a labyrinthine city while trying to deliver a package. The novel is articulated through encounters with ambiguous characters and scenes of uncertain status, with meticulous prose that makes description the center of the reading experience.
Work originally published in 1959; this edition belongs to the Blackwell's French Texts series, with introduction and notes in English by David Meakin.
Edition aimed at university students of French or French literature, interested in twentieth-century experimental narrative.
