«Un roman sentimental» is the novel by Alain Robbe-Grillet, published by Fayard in paperback format (252 pages, in French).
The author defines it as a fairy tale for adults: a narrative that deliberately breaks the laws of verisimilitude and decorum, written with almost realist precision. The text moves between the dark and the erotic, with images of naked adolescent bodies, and departs from any conventional moralizing or sentimental intention.
The first edition dates from 2007. The ISBN-10 of this work is 2213632618 and the text is in French.
For readers of French literature seeking a dark, erotic narrative far from conventional sentimentalism.
