«¿Dónde has estado, Robert?» is the young adult novel by Hans Magnus Enzensberger, published by Siruela in hardcover (256 pages, in Spanish).
Robert discovers that simply contemplating an image —a painting, a photograph, a movie or television— is enough to transport him to the era it depicts. Thus he lives seven adventures through key moments in history: Nazi Germany, the Russian Revolution or the Thirty Years' War. A tale that invites readers to ask what lies behind every image.
Volume 66 of the Las Tres Edades collection, published in 1999. Translated by Rosa Pilar Blanco from the German original «Wo warst du, Robert?». Recommended reading age: from 12 years.
For young readers aged 12 and up who enjoy time-travel stories and historical adventures.
