El concierto de las palabras

Synopsis of El concierto de las palabras

«El concierto de las palabras» is the short story collection by María Luisa de León González, published by Irreverentes in paperback (136 pages, in Spanish).

The pleasure of reading underpins these stories about motherhood, clandestine dates, dreamed lives and dependence on the elderly. Evictions and the planet's future also appear, with music as a common thread and the boundary between reality and fantasy; the collection invites reflection on how we pass concerns on to our children.

First edition published on April 28, 2022.
