«El exilio» is the philosophical essay by Toni Negri, published by El Viejo Topo in paperback (98 pages, in Spanish).
After fourteen years of exile in France, Toni Negri returned to Italy in 1997 and was arrested on arrival. The book combines that experience with philosophical variations on prison, solitude, work and the multitude, blending the personal and the contemporary. The volume is completed with texts by Rossana Rossanda, Giorgio Agamben and Paolo Virno.
It is the first edition, published in January 1998 within the Essay collection of El Viejo Topo.
For an audience interested in contemporary political philosophy and debates on exile, prison and the multitude.
