«El juez y la trenza» is the mystery novel by Francisco Roldán Santías, published by Círculo Rojo in paperback (268 pages, in Spanish).
Judge Abraham Sequero's political career is interrupted when he is arrested for the death of his cousin Gonzalo. To understand what could have led him to commit the crime, the narrative goes back to the summers shared in a small town in Madrid, where the resentment and secrets that have marked his life took shape.
Proceeds from this novel go, through the association Inadure Spain, to research into childhood neuromuscular dystrophy.
For readers of mystery novels and contemporary fiction looking for crime stories with a personal and rural backdrop.
