The plot begins when Inspector Flores, faced with a sinister case, searches an asylum for a patient capable of solving it. This narrator, an improvised and delirious detective, recounts in chronological order a series of events in a very short time, combining crime, farce, social satire and nods to the Gothic novel and hard-boiled fiction.
First installment of the series «El innombrado detective o El paciente del Doctor Sugrañes», first published in 1980.
Recommended for readers who enjoy humor, parody and classic crime fiction.
