«El poema de la rosa als llavis» is the poetry collection by Joan Salvat-Papasseit, published by Columna CAT in paperback (200 pages, in Catalan).
A love poetry collection in which Joan Salvat-Papasseit unfolds a theory of love that fuses traditional lyric with avant-garde experimentation. With a single voice, the masculine one, and a recurring floral symbolism, the poet sings to a beloved he never names, in a series of madrigals among the most beautiful in Catalan literature.
Work originally published in 1923; this 2006 edition, edited by Joaquim Molas, who signs the prologue, belongs to the Jove Columna collection (no. 185).
Recommended for poetry readers and lovers of Catalan literature; the youth collection makes it accessible to a wide audience.
