«El silo: una sinfonía pastoral» is John Kinsella's poetry collection, published by La Garúa Libros in paperback (208 pages, in Spanish).
A poetry collection that draws on the pastoral tradition and reworks it from the Australian landscape, far from any idyllic vision. Kangaroos, sheep trucks and salinized wells populate a poetry where nature and human intervention clash, with a disquieting tone and an unconventional view of rural life.
It belongs to the La Garúa poesía collection, number 81. First edition translated from English by Katherine M. Hedeen and Víctor Rodríguez Núñez, published in 2019 in Spain.
For readers of contemporary poetry who want to discover an Australian and current revision of the pastoral genre.
