This book tells the story of the 16 Discalced Carmelites who were martyred in Toledo in 1936. The first part, written by F. Herrera, is a sketch of these martyrs. The second part, written by P. Valentín, is a brief biography of his brother Ovidio, who was the Prior of the Carmelite Community of Toledo at that time and, therefore, the leader of the group. Their early beatification is expected.
