«Evangelii Gaudium» is Pope Francis's apostolic exhortation in a commented edition, published by Romana in paperback (272 pages, in Spanish).
The text develops the proclamation of the Gospel as a source of joy and calls believers to a new evangelization. Pope Francis takes up the teachings of his predecessors and of the Second Vatican Council, and invites to spiritual renewal, to a personal encounter with Jesus, and to the Church's commitment in today's world.
This second edition is commented by Mons. Marcello Semeraro and was published on April 30, 2014. It is part of the Apostolic Exhortations collection.
For readers interested in Pope Francis's magisterium, Christian theology, and the spirituality of the Catholic Church.
Pope Francis was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City from 13 March 2013 until his death in 2025. He was the first Jesuit pope, the first Latin American, and the first pope born or raised outside Europe since the 8th-century Syrian pope Gregory III.
