«Evangelii gaudium» is the apostolic exhortation by Pope Francis, published by Sal Terrae in paperback (200 pages, in Spanish).
It is Pope Francis's first apostolic exhortation and develops evangelization today. It draws on Paul VI, John Paul II, Benedict XVI and the Second Vatican Council to propose a new evangelization based on the joy of the Gospel, the relationship with Jesus and a Church close to the poor, promoting encounter and inclusion.
This Spanish edition belongs to the Presencia Teológica collection and includes an introduction by Walter Kasper and an epilogue by George Augustin; the exhortation was originally published in 2013.
For readers interested in theology, Christian spirituality, Catholic doctrine and the magisterium of Pope Francis.
Pope Francis was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City from 13 March 2013 until his death in 2025. He was the first Jesuit pope, the first Latin American, and the first pope born or raised outside Europe since the 8th-century Syrian pope Gregory III.
