«Evangelios Apócrifos» is a collection of apocryphal gospels by P. Peeters, published by Edicomunicacion in paperback (155 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together four apocryphal texts: the Protoevangelium of James, the Pseudo-Matthew Gospel, the Gospel of Thomas and the History of Joseph the Carpenter. Excluded from the biblical canon, these narratives offer alternative accounts of the childhood of Mary and Jesus and of Saint Joseph.
Published in 1989, the work is the Spanish translation of «Évangiles apocryphes» by P. Peeters.
A reference work for those interested in ancient religious literature and in the study of early Christianity and its non-canonical texts.
