«Greguerías» is the collection of greguerías by Ramón Gómez de la Serna, published by Diario El País in hardcover (282 pages, in Spanish).
Ramón Gómez de la Serna cultivated greguerías as a genre of his own: brief sentences combining metaphor and humor to look at reality with fresh eyes. This selection brings together examples of those he wrote from 1910, published in the press, included in other books or unpublished, and closes with a chronological appendix that allows readers to follow their evolution.
Published in 2003, it is number 15 in the Clásicos del siglo XX collection from El País.
For readers interested in Spanish avant-garde literature and in brief forms of humor and wit.
