«I facoceri fanno le...» is the illustrated children's picture book by Simone Frasca, published by Piemme in paperback (36 pages, in Italian).
Little elephant Giulio starts school and is eager to make friends, but his parents fill his head with stereotypes: monkeys are thieves, anteaters are nosy, and rhinos are dangerous. Giulio will have to find out if these prejudices are true. At the end, the book includes four pages of games with the characters.
The edition, published in 2008, is illustrated and belongs to the «Il battello a vapore. Serie arcobaleno» collection by Piemme, within the «Prime storie» line.
This story for preschool and early readers invites dialogue about prejudice and appreciating diversity.
