«Identidades confinadas» is the philosophy essay by Lola Robles, published by Útero Libros in paperback (231 pages, in Spanish).
The essay analyzes feminism's internal debate on transgender people's rights. Robles contrasts the trans-exclusionary sector with trans and queer activism, and reflects on identity, biological sex, gender stereotypes and the category of 'woman'. The author, who defines herself as queer/cuir, argues that each person must be able to say who they are.
First edition in Spanish, published in 2021 in the 'Piratas Calientes' collection by Útero Libros.
For those who want to delve deeper into current feminism, queer theory and the debate on transgender people's rights.
