Il perché di una scelta. Le parole di Benedetto XVI

Synopsis of Il perché di una scelta. Le parole di Benedetto XVI

This book, edited by Joseph M. Kraus, collects the testimonies and words of Pope Benedict XVI explaining the reasons behind his decision to resign from the papacy. The author reviews his eight years of magisterium through speeches, encyclicals, and pastoral visits to clarify the value and significance of this gesture for the Catholic Church. The book aims to help readers understand that this choice was not linked to social or political events, but rather to a deep personal and spiritual commitment.
