«J'aime les livres» is Anthony Browne's children's picture book, published in 2010 by Kaleidoscope in paperback (10 pages, in French).
A little chimpanzee reviews the books he likes: funny books, scary books, monster and pirate books, and many more. With Anthony Browne's illustrations, the journey through each type of reading becomes a celebration of the pleasure of reading and the variety of stories that fit in a book.
The French edition is from 2010; the original English title, I Like Books, was published in 1988. The book falls within children's and young adult literature.
Aimed at young children, it is suitable for reading aloud and for talking about books in class.
