«Jésus raconté par le Juif errant» is the religious novel by Edmond Fleg, published by Albin Michel in paperback (346 pages, in French).
Edmond Fleg inverts the medieval antisemitic legend of the Wandering Jew: his protagonist, a paralytic healed by Jesus, follows him fascinated by the rabbi of Galilee, witnesses his life and passion, and tries to save him. It is considered the first Jewish reading of the Gospels and proposes a dialogue between Jews and Christians.
The work was published in 1993 in the Espaces Libres collection (Spiritualités Vivantes), with a preface by Josy Eisenberg.
A work for readers interested in interreligious dialogue and the Jewish interpretation of the figure of Jesus.
