«La aldea global» is the political economy essay by Noam Chomsky and Heinz Dieterich Steffan, published by Txalaparta, S.L. in paperback (208 pages).
The work examines the axes of US foreign policy after the New World Order, questions faith in the free market and situates the global crisis within the framework of inequalities generated by contemporary capitalism. Chomsky and Dieterich thus offer a critical look at globalization and its social consequences.
This essay is part of the Gebara collection from Txalaparta; the corresponding edition is the ninth, published in 1997.
For readers of political and economic essays interested in globalization, international relations and critical thought.
