«La Immortalitat» is the novel by Milan Kundera published by Destino CAT in 1990, in paperback and in Catalan.
The novel starts from the gesture of an older woman that captivates Kundera and leads him to create Agnès, a strange woman in a world where people are reduced to their image. Love, chance and involuntary feelings mix with historical episodes, such as Goethe's relationship with Bettina Brentano, and with a reflection on immortality and values.
This Catalan edition is part of the L'Ancora collection from Destino CAT and was published on May 1, 1990.
Aimed at readers of contemporary fiction and at those looking for a Catalan edition of Milan Kundera.
