«La llegenda de sant Jordi... explicada pel senyor drac!» is the children's story by Carles Sala i Vila, published by Cruïlla in hardcover (40 pages, in Catalan).
The dragon from the legend of Saint George takes the floor to tell his version of events, very different from the usual one: it turns out he is vegetarian, there was no fierce battle, and the princess was not as she is portrayed. The encounter with the knight leads to an unexpected friendship, in a story with humor, fantasy and values such as justice and freedom.
Published in 2012, it is illustrated by Carole Hénaff and recommended for readers aged 6 to 8. The work belongs to the children's fantasy genre.
For early readers who are starting to read and looking for fun versions of classic legends.
