«La mauvaise vie» is the autobiography of Frédéric Mitterrand, published by Robert Laffont in paperback (350 pages, in French).
In these memoirs, Frédéric Mitterrand confesses freely: after a public life of success, he describes the bad life he kept secret and which he had previously only told in veiled form in stories and films. The book evokes moments of joy and encounters that tried to compensate for the pain, until he stopped lying to himself.
Originally published in 2005, the work is classified as a biography. Frédéric Mitterrand was also a French actor, producer and film director.
