«La niebla, tres veces» is the fiction volume by Menchu Gutiérrez that brings together three novels, published by Siruela in 2011 (262 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together three novels: in «Viaje de estudios», orphans cross a snowy landscape with a teacher and a confessor; «La tabla de las mareas» pits a white church against a black church governed by the tides; in «La mujer ensimismada», twelve identical houses surround a garden of invisible laws and each woman carries out a task.
The paperback edition belongs to Siruela's Nuevos Tiempos collection. The collected novels were originally published in 1995, 1998 and 2001.
For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction who appreciate poetic, suggestive prose.
