«La vida interior de las plantas de interior» is a collection of short stories by Patricio Pron, published by Random House in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
The stories in the book mix the irreverent, the sweet and the desolate: a woman cries in front of a magazine in a supermarket, a dog appears in fifty-four paintings by Picasso and several writers suffer from writer's block. Reading is presented, for them, as relief and salvation.
The book was published in 2013, brings together thirteen stories and was published in paperback with flaps under the Literatura Random House imprint.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in stories about the literary world and the saving power of reading.
Patricio Pron is an Argentine writer and literary critic translated into a dozen languages including English, German, French and Italian. Granta magazine selected him in 2010 as one of the 22 best young writers in Spanish of his generation.
