«Versos domingueros» is the poetry collection by Álvaro Ceballos, published by Edición personal in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
The collection is presented with a back-cover text that, in an ironic key, denies one by one the supposed biographical traits of the author and culminates in an impossible recipe for making domingueros verses with proper names and everyday ingredients. The whole proposes a playful poetry, alien to solemnity and close to the absurd.
First edition published in Madrid in October 2011, with nine illustrations by Patricio Pron.
For readers of poetry in Spanish looking for a brief work, with a touch of humor and literary play.
